“Upon arrival I received a warm welcome. The lobby is clean and offers hot coffee or cold water. My room was clean with a mini-frig and microwave. It had an ironing board and iron too. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. The bathroom walls could use a little upgrading though. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I found plenty to eat being gluten free. Parking was never a problem. I will be back.”

“Surprised Best Western hasn’t revoked their franchise. It will be awhile before I risk another stay at that brand.”

“We were unable to find the opening to the building, walked all around there were two doors and stated that they were not to be opened. I fell tripping over the uneven sidewalk. I would have given this one star except I went next door to Best Western Hotel and found out they were the owners. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Great weeken”

“We had a FANTASTIC 4-night stay with friends at this lovely, cabin-cozy lake house. Very large, bright, and tons of room for everyone. The kitchen had ample counter space and a big ol pantry for dry food storage, a Traeger and Blackstone outside to cook on, ice maker, multiple refrigerators, dishwasher, utensils, and cooking equipment. The only thing I couldn't find was a can opener which was fine because I didn't actually want those tomatoes anyway. The dining table seats one thousand people so...

“Charming small house very comfortable for two couples”

“Stayed here for our kiddo’s graduation from Knox College. A beautiful wonderful property with so much history. We enjoyed seeing all the family history. My mother-in-law and I were reminded of visiting our family farms when we were younger. Only thing we didn’t like was the septic system is very old and you can’t flush toilet paper. Other than that it was a beautiful property and a cozy home.”

“The property is very nice. Quiet location. Jen communicates very well. The kitchen is very well stocked and the house had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property. We will be staying again.”

“The facility was well stocked with items we used. The master suite was wonderful. Laundry appliances and soap were available - and we used them. Because we were busy in town most of the weekend, we didn't get to use the hot tub, but it was available and ready for us. The host was very easy to reach whenever we had questions.”
