“I visit Plattsburgh every August and plan to stay at Hampton Inn & Suites every time. I am in my mid-80s and am very comfortable in this hotel. The room was great and the breakfast above average. Front desk personal were friendly and helpful.”

“I think our stay wasn't typical for most guests since we booked for the night before Freshman move-in day at Plattsburgh University. However, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely pleasant. Using a golf cart to access the cabin was a fun twist that my daughter enjoyed. We stayed in one of the "duplex" cabins. It was very clean and obviously updated but still rustic. “Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! “It was disappointing, I will never stay with them again! Room wasn’t vacuumed or dusted, bathroom had pupil hairs on toilet seat, floor and walls in bathroom were disgusting. Pubic hairs on the bed sheet! Wrappers under bed! Hallway floors were not vacuumed and the door to go into the place has not been cleaned in awhile!
