Hotel a Dover

“One night stay on road trip. Hotel is old and in interesting neigh b orhood . Price was good for one night stop would not stay for extended time as seemed far away from places visitors would travel to. Full parking lot was nearly empty next morning so I assume that is the norm”

“Being an older property there were some issues. Paint peeling, ceiling tiles in the hallway missing. General maintenance items. It did not effect the stay. Best sleep I've had in a while. Will definitely stay again when I'm in town. The room was quiet even with people there for softball and baseball tournaments and a bowling tournament.”

“States here with our softball team for second year in a row and this time was by far the best experience I hand had with a hotel ”

“It was apparent the sheets were soiled. Last time we will stay at these motels.”

“The room was advertised to have a hot tub and they did not. The breakfast was not ready on time when I needed to leave early.”

“The landscaping was completely overgrown with tall weeds at the entrance and on the sides of the hotel and coming out of what appears to have once been a fountain. It looked really bad and was unexpected for a Hyatt property. When I originally looked at booking this hotel it was extremely overpriced. However, I found it later for a better price and so booked. I wasn’t happy with the appearance of the overgrown weeds, etc. and would have been furious had I opted to book at the higher price...

“Clean. Nice rooms. Bathrooms and linens were clean.”

“Looks like an old Fairfield Inn hotel. TV did not work in room. Outlets on side of bed did not work. Room had fridge and microwave. Pool was shutdown. Not worth saving a couple of bucks to stay here.”

“This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good.”

“This is an older hotel, well situated near two interstate highways (I-70 and I-470) There is an excellent Texas Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance across the street. The room I had was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the hot water in the bath/shower. All I could ever get out of it was warm water, although the water in the sink was hot. It seemed to be an issue with the control valve for the bath/shower. The air conditioning functioned well.”

“Very strange bathroom. Sink in the room, closet type area for toilet and shower. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was limited. Staff was very nice and friendly.”

“My wife wanted a Bloody Mary but when we went down to get her one they said the bar doesn’t open until four or five he wasn’t sure and this was a Saturday morning????”

“The local was good other than that the bathroom floor in the room was falling apart. The room had flys pool and workout room was closed coffee was cold and was going to take a hour to get fresh.”
