Hotel a Dover

“Room renovations or repairs were apparently in work. Unpainted patches and wall repairs were evident. Carpet needed restoration; strong odor of odor counteractant and occasional strong whiff of maybe urine. Breakfast was very good. Check-out was efficient. Selection of facility was based on an 8.4 rating. Our room was well below 8. ”

“The room decor was awesome. The bar was great as well. It was very clean and the shower and bed were excellent. The only issue was the air conditioner was very loud. ”

“You need to take this property off your site!!! We did not even check in. The place looked like a crack motel, with people renting weekly. The building from the outside was falling apart with boards holding up the 2nd floor walkway( i have pics). Since all the rooms were booked in Topeka KS we had to go 50 miles away to find an adequate hotel. I would like a refund, but you must take this property off of your site.”

“Spacious room, very clean, attractive decor in room and all areas. Only down-side- the water pressure and temperature were seriously lacking. Took 5+ minutes for water to heat up even moderately acceptable.”

“When I got there, no greeting the desk. Checked in, elevators broken and the one we could take was sketch. Get to our room, and the housekeeping has sheets in the hallways for most of the night. Pool was freezing. Hot tub was cold as ice. We asked for pool help, but didn’t get any. The hotel overall was dirty, unkept, and staff was not very nice. The gaming area took the kids money. I do not recommend staying here. ”

“Were impressed with the room and staff. Had to be gone for a few hours and when we came back there was no place to park. Had to park at parking lot for neighboring hotel. Would still come back. ”

“My room was in good shape. The remote did not work very well on the TV unless I stood right in front of it to change the channel. The building is close to the highway so there was alot of noise around the entire building. The area around the building was a little sketchy but I did not experience any issues during my stay. There was alot of activity in the hallways a couple of nights that did concern me but things settled down around midnight during the weekend.”

“This is one of the nicest hotels in Topeka...Staff totally professional..it is clean! Has a bar and restaurant that serves from the bar area..Many arras that are open to watch TV or just play cards...the room we had on 1st floor had exceptionally high ceilings, really nice! The area is very accessible to event happenings. ”

“When we first walked into the lobby it smelled sooo clean. I was amazed. Got to our room and again. It was so clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The staff making the breakfast was extremely sweet. Even told us to take a muffin for our journey back home. Our room was one of the best I've ever stayed in. ”
