“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. “We had a good stay at Premier Inn Durham North overall. When we arrived, there was an issue with our booking payment. We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again. The receptionist was not very friendly at first and said that this was not their problem, which felt quite stressful after a long journey. “Lovely cottage which is situated close to Durham City centre.Helpful, friendly host, who was on hand when we had any problems. Also, a very good Italian restaurant next door.”

“Fabulous house for large groups. Very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.Only negative was the house wasn’t very warm despite the heating being on full, however, we did stay at one of the coldest times of the year with frost outside.Another point to note, take extra care when using the hot tub at night as the lighting to get to it from the house is poor”
