“Room was tidy, staff was very friendly.”

“Charming place. Recently redone, which is nice. Beautiful setting. There were many bird nests near our room. One bird actually flew into our room when we were coming in. But that’s a fun adventure we’ll talk about for years. The only real downside is how loud the space is. Each room is an echo chamber and vibrations from neighbors propagate very easily.”

“It was nice place; however, air conditioning was needed and there was mosquitos in the room. I was confused about their reservation policy as they claim our reservation was cancelled, because I did not respond to their email message the day before, even after we paid for the room. They let us there anyway.”

“Starting off there were cockroaches at the room, the microwave and fridge were in a horrible state, the towels provided were dirty; the bedding smelled horribly. The room itself looked and smelled bad. Not even 5 minutes into the room there was a roach. Really uncomfortable to rest knowing everything is so dirty”

“DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival, we spotted an un-housed person and his friend living under the staircase of where our room was located. We spoke to the front office women, who was very kind and she spoke to the (I’m guessing maintenance man or manager, not sure) man doing pool work, who did ask the people to leave. However, he said to them that he was asking them because “those people” complained. Yes. We did. They had their whole living room underneath the staircase, including alcohol,...

“We stayed in Chico during a 2 week road trip in Northern California. Our room was perfect for what we needed, a nice sofa to lounge and watch some TV shows, good WiFi connection, spacious bathroom, clean and cozy bed, and blackout shades. We were a bit hungry and the cafe provided options we found appealing and tasty for dinner. Recommend the location as it is close to major retailers in case you need to resupply.”

“The rooms are amazingly clean always, we've stay here every time were in town. The staff this last trip went over and above making sure we had what we needed to make sure our trip was comfortable. The breakfast was incredible (always), so many choices for hot or cold breakfast and what makes it stand out above the other hotels is that the hot breakfast choices change daily and you can build a grab and go bag if your on the run and cant sit down for breakfast. “My overall experience would have been a 3 to 4 star rating, up until I woke up in the morning, got up to go to the restroom, then upon returning to bed, discovered that I had rolled over and killed 3 small cockroaches in my sleep, which were squashed into the bed sheets! I immediately showered and left the property. To be fair, I answered all the rating questions without letting the roaches factor into the overall rating.
