“Property is pristine, quiet, extremely comfortable, lots of space, great outdoor deck. It is very near Omega institute. It vould easily be used for personal retreat because it is nestled in quiet woods. We would defitely return enroute to Maine or NE for a night's stay.”

We enjoy sending good reviews but in this situation we can not and want to alert fellow travelers what we experienced. We were so disappointed in the accommodations that we left a night early. First impressions do matter. The front of the house was untidy with overgrown bushes and weeds. “Unique place to stay. We had the smallest room I think I’ve ever stayed in with one chair and a window air conditioner. But it’s old so it is what it is. Loved the tavern in the evening. Friendly kind staff throughout ! Convenient location to everything! Breakfast was served down the block which wasn’t convenient and it was just ok. Don’t think I’ll stay here again but I’m glad I had the experience.”

“This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. Ther is a great restaurant next door.”

“Even though it was a short stay, we had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and check-in was an absolute breeze—which we deeply appreciated given our late arrival. The next morning, the fitness studio was perfect for a quick workout, and breakfast absolutely hit the spot afterward. Super comfortable and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Phoenicia Lodge. We stayed for two nights and went hiking in the surrounding area. The lodge is in a great location—ideal if you have a car (we didn’t, but we managed just fine). Sandra was a huge help, and the welcome was fantastic. She always gave great advice and really takes good care of her guests. I highly recommend Phoenicia Lodge.”
