Hotel a Gola Royal Gorge

“Wonderful, hotel restoration…lovely tiled bathroom. One improvement needed, a chair in space for at least putting on shoes.”

“Wheelchair accessible bath was not accessible room was not cleaned for 4 days. Bath towels were not changed out. We were there for 4 days and nothing was done in the room”

“The place was WONDERFUL!! Beautiful views. Would love to come back. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because the TVs didn't work.”

“Everyone that worked there was so nice and helpful..suggesting a wonderful place to eat..the hotel is small but sufficient ..coffee and packaged muffins for breakfast, which was fine for us..I will stay there again..no pool...”

“Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss.”

“Room was dirty, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom. Room floors needed to be swept and mopped. Had to ask staff to come sweep and mop. Even after they said they did the dead bugs were still in the corner. Bathtub was gross and dirty. No extra toilet paper, one washcloth for two people. Microwave door was broken. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve stayed in places for less with way better service and way cleaner.”

“Sunshine was a wonderful host answering all our questions by text quickly and very accommodating. This place is in the most beautiful spot, 360 degree views, peaceful and serene. We reserved the repurposed barn which had 3 bedrooms and one large well equipped bathroom. The common space is large with a pool table and full size pac man game the kids loved! The dog friendly part was wonderful as we were able to bring our two pups. The space tidy and well appointed but was rather dusty (not...

“Absolute idyllic paradise! The house is decorated beautifully, we felt instantly at home. We spent a lot of time in the shared outdoor space, which has picnic tables, lawn chairs, a grill, and horse shoes. Sadly the skies were cloudy so we couldn’t see any stars, but on a clear night I can tell it would be spectacular!”

“Nice sized rooms and we enjoyed coming in after our night out and finding a popcorn machine that provided a great evening snack. The other rooms do seem to be occupied by people living there with food, clothes and possibly garbage sitting outside some rooms. We didn’t expect that but I guess it is an extended stay hotel. Room was fairly clean and simple so if you’re expecting frills don’t stay here.”
