“My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. “The staff were very nice. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The last ghting over the sink was not bright enough when trying to apply makeup. And no place in shower to set your shampoo and soap. But as far as the grounds were beautiful! It was peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely go back.”

“The air conditioning and dehumidifier were mandatory for the rooms in Queens Court. Unfortunately, our a/c unit kept cycling on and off all night without stabilizing the room, which caused us to lose sleep. In fact, we did not get to sleep at all the first night and felt forced to vacate one day early. Since we had paid our two-day fee in advance, we have not been reimbursed for the second night even though the hotel staff notified us that they filed the 'faulty a/c complaint' as an acceptable...
