“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute. “Location is great for Kings Canyon and Sequoia Natl Park-one hour away. Great little short trips to see beautiful scenery is nearby too, and plenty of wineries if that's what you prefer.
Breakfast was ok with cereal options, fruit and breakfast bars too.
The hair dryer didnt work, but I never reported it or asked for a replacement. The mattress sank in the middle, but the place was clean and just fine to rest my head at the end of the day.
Defintely an above average clean place to stay but...

“Thought this place would be nice do to having access to freeway , etc. place looks sketchy on the outside it looks like a halfway housing makes you feel uneasy. Inside looks nothing like what’s advertised on the web horrible sheets had paint stains, towels as well.
