Hotel in zona Gulf Palms, Galveston

“Great location, a bit down from Galveston.”

“Some issues with water bugs in the room. Overall the rooms are older with obvious wear. The game room is pay to play with no foosball table… Which made the kids sad. Pool was good and accessing the beach directly from the hotel is great and the saving grace. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall ok for a short trip.”

“To start with there is a roach in our room. Some degree this is hard to avoid down south so that wouldn’t have been that big a deal in itself. There’s hair in both the beds. There’s hair in two places in the bathroom. There’s hair in the shower. There’s hair in one of the towels. There are crumbs of some type in the bed. We checked in after midnight and checked out first thing the next morning. It was a huge pain, trying to find another hotel over the weekend in the vacation down so it...

“We chose this hotel to save money by having breakfast included. However, when we checked in, they told us that they weren’t serving breakfast at the property anymore for no reason. It was very important to me because I wanted to have free breakfast with the family before starting the day. The gym also had very few machines. Other than that, everything was good. The hotel is close to the beach. The only issue was that breakfast wasn’t included, and that really affected our experience.”

“Hotel dall'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Camere spaziose e sopratutto molto confortevoli e pulite. Colazione abbondante e molto apprezzato il fatto che durante il giorno ci fosse il caffe sempre a disposizione. Utilissimo il computer nella reception con stampante annessa a disposizione dei clienti, nel nostro caso abbiamo avuto un problema con l'apertura di un file pdf (biglietto aereo) e la ragazza alla reception ci ha subito risolto il problema.”

“El hotel está en buenas condiciones, pero no tenían la reservación y la habitación para nosotros. Nos dieron una habitación a medio limpiar, no había toallas ni shampoo ni jabón. Todo lo pedimos en la recepción. El desayuno es insuficiente para el número de huéspedes, bajamos 40 minutos antes de terminar y ya no había huevo y tampoco había ninguna persona para solicitar más.”

“The front of the property very well maintained, but the back where I was staying was a another story. I kinda read some of the reviews which I always do and the ratings were pretty high, which gave me tho ok to go ahead and book. The rooms were very nice, but the traffic was heavy with people, I understand its a motel so people will be moving around constantly, but I felt really unsafe and slept with two knives all night. I decide to leave the next morning, although i paid for two nights just...

“Ottimo hotel, fronte mare. Camera spaziosa, pulita e confortevole. Buona l'offerta per la colazione, la struttura si presenta curata e ben tenuta, idromassaggio super! Ci tornerei sicuramente.”

“Siamo stati sfortunati in quanto nella stanza accanto c'era una coppia che continuava a parlare fino alle 3 di notte (insonorizzazione inesistente). Abbiamo chiamato 2 volte la reception chiedendoli di avvisare gli ospiti di stare in silenzio.Alla fune abbiamo dormito poco e niente. Per quanto riguarda la colazione , non posso dire niente perché NON L'HANNO SERVITA! Neanche il caffè! Hanno semplicemente deciso di non farla quel giorno (nonostante fosse inclusa).”

“I booked two nights with my partner to spend the weekend in Galveston, when we arrived Friday 8pm we found an extremely dirty room, the refrigerator was not running, the sheets were all stained. We spent the night there because we live in Baytown, the next morning we left the hotel at 6am. We didn't even stay the entire stay booked, now I'm fighting with Expedia to get a refund for this terrible experience.”
