“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. This is our second time staying and it definitely won’t be...

“There is actually ac at this hotel which is not advertised. It’s also walkable from the railway station. We took uber from the train station to the hotel. It’s only cost us 8 pounds. We could have walked to the hotel if we knew it’s only 400 meters away. It’s literally just around the corner if you know the way. However, The road to the cruise ship on the other hand was harder and not well signed. We missed a few turns but eventually got to the ship in an hour!!! We found that there’s no use...

“La stanza era arredata molto bene e in modo originale, le dimensioni adeguate e il letto spazioso. Il bagno era stato pulito molto in fretta, se era stato pulito: sul lavandino c'eral'impronta di una saponetta usata precedentemente, la parte del WC sotto l'asse era sporca di urina in più punti. Il pavimento del bagno era stato scopato, ma lurido perché non lavato probabilmente per più giorni. Nella teiera nell'armadio della camera abbiamo trovato le bustine di té bagnate del cliente precedente!...

“A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou.”

“Apparentemente carino, perché hall e spazi comuni ristrutturati in stile marittimo. Camera orribile, davvero troppo datata, bagno con vasca e tendina, dopo la prima doccia, acqua dappertutto. Arredamento scadente, pulizia anche. Lo sconsiglio! Non ci tornerei neanche per una notte. Qualità prezzo: COSTOSO!”

“This is a good value room in a pleasant location. The rooms are a little basic but offer good value. Staff are all very helpful especially as we arrived very late.”

“The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was. The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses. Otherwise not to be recommended at that price.”

It’s these little things that make it a home from home, lovely beds, great food - nespresso machine & illy coffee. Pure class, highly recommend. I never give 5 stars, but here we are. Staff were superb on arrival, helped settle me in & made to feel welcome.”

“Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. Could be such a wonderful place, if the staff weren't recreating Fawlty Towers”

“Another wonderful stay , the hotel is so beautifully decorated clean and owners so friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is amazing with a fantastic choice cooked to order. The lady serving this is a treasure and can’t do enough for you. Will be back again to this amazing hotel by the sea .”
