If you plan to use the jacuzzi, start heating it as soon as you arrive so you can really enjoy it; same with the sauna. “We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. “Milford is a nice town to hang out in with many places to shop, dine and visit historical sites and lovely architecture on every street and John Wallace House is the perfect place to stay. Close to center of town, lovely bedrooms, delicious breakfast included on antique china. Innkeepers lovingly restored this gem of a house. ”

“The staff was very nice. But unfortunately my stay was not ideal. I checked out early bc the shower smelled like rotten eggs. Additionally, I found fair in my sheets.”

“Definitely dated, sheets were stained. They were replaced by less stained eggshell colored sheets. Breakfast slightly above an Inn. Don’t bother with dinner unless you’re there for the weekend. The portions are small . Big positive that it’s made to order.”
