“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. “The pool was "broken". The sheets and towels were stained. The room and bathroom needed to be painted because of all the spots of ??? on the walls. The breakfast was a joke! No juice, 2 pieces of sausage, milk was watered down. I would never stay there again.”

“The house was very clean and spacious for our group of 3. Our contact was courteous. The house location was great for Bell Smith Spring Trails. It’s not too far from the Garden of the rocks and the Rim Rock Trail. There was a small restaurant nearby in case travelers don’t want to cook. ”
