“We were there just 1 (rainy) night in December. Great location (James Bay is an area we prefer) & especially a good price for this area in our opinion.
Happy with polite & professional front desk service, the room was clean (& we like non-carpeted rooms), bed was fine, so although not everyone’s conclusion according to the varied reviews, this is our personal experience having stayed at a variety of different quality hotels & motels.
A bonus is free parking (although I am sure it could get...

The outside is deceptive, not having great curb appeal, but the rooms are modern and spotless with comfortable beds, good quality sheets, and large tvs. The staff are pleasant and efficient, breakfast is adequate, and amenities include a pool table, e-bikes and kayaks. “The staff were lovely....friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating.
The rooms were very nice, comfortable and very clean.
It is the 1st time in our lives, that we have ever had a call from the front desk shortly after checking in, to ask us if we were happy with the room and if there was anything that we needed. Very classy!
We won't hesitate to stay there again and will be recommending it to family and friends. ”

“We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch! ”
