“Loved the location. Not too happy about the newly imposed parking fee. As a gold member I'm entitled to two bottled water and food/beverage credit per day. Didn't get any of that. Instead I was imposed a $35/day parking fee and refused a later check out time. My two daughters who had separate reservations were granted a 11:00 check out time and a12:00 check out time, but mama was not granted.”

“The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling.”

“Struttura datata ma ok se non si hanno pretese. La vetrata che portava al poggiolo aveva bisogno di un bastone per esser chiusa in sicurezza. Clima non presente ma eravamo già stati avvisati..è bastato il ventilatore. Per gli stessi soldi credo si trovi di meglio.”

“The rooms were clean with great views. No amenities past 9pm. Everything shuts down. Cannot even buy a water.”

“Location ok, walking distance from black sand beach, not too far from the volcano. Is more an hotel apartment vs hotel. No services for breakfast, dinner, food, supermarket is 20min driving, reception close at 5pm We asked for a sea view room, but, we got a room in a very bad position.”

“Ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Peccato la carenza d'informazione sul check-in. L'indirizzo dato è quello del check-in (altro lodge, non ricordo il nome) mentre la struttura si trova a ca. 1 miglio su un'altra strada.”

“This place is unique, and the huge trees on the property are amazing. You can pick your own fruit and macadamia nuts even, and keep or eat them. The set up of the "common area" is a bit odd, with the main room being part of the hostesses house. The pictures of the beautiful kitchen that I saw in the listing was very misleading, as the kitchen is 100% hands off, guests are not allowed to touch it. Which was really weird and not welcoming, and odd that you can be right next to the hosts personal...

“Place was nice. They have lovely four cats and that’s the one of the main reason why we like this place. They also provide all useful gears for guests to use like beach chairs, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, laundry stuffs, etc. The only thing I would like to say is the orange cat’s eyes has some illness issue. There is a lot of discharge in his eyes. We also have cats, and we believe this can be treated. Please take them to doctors if you can. Thanks a lot. We want to come back next year to see...
