“We were in the Dallas area for my nephew's wedding and the Refuge at the Lake worked out great for 8 people from age 2 to 85. One of the reasons we booked the property was that one person had recent knee surgery and another had other mobility issues. Having two rooms on the first floor worked out great but a second bathroom on this floor would have reduced congestion when getting ready for the wedding. We also appreciated that the property was very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies...

“Small, comfortable. Even for a family of 7, it sure did fit all of us. Didn't have any trouble getting to the stadium nor coming back from a quick trip to the market.”

“Check in was easy. Communication was easy. It's a quiet area, so probably no true concern for break ins, but only thing to suggest- the front door needs to be adjusted. The double door is nice, but the one side barely latches. Kitchen was well equipped with all needs. Small dorm fridge can be used. Extra blankets in closet and iron with board. Water pressure in the shower, and also sinks was pretty low. Heads up. Great location close to all amenities. Most we traveled for anything was 15 mins....
