“The property is older. Run down. All outside access doors. Room was clean. No air conditioning. Coffee, breakfast bars, instant oatmeal! Nice lady though, that checked us in”

“The Hand Hotel was a wonderful place to spend the night. My boyfriend and I did some geocaching in the area and the only bummer to this experience is that we did not encounter a ghost.”

“Our room was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Because there’s no air conditioning, it did get quite warm even with a fan and the window left open over night. I felt the beds mattress not very comfortable. And trying to find the hot tub and pool a dilemma. There were no signs and if someone hadn’t told us where to go, we may still wandering about. “The bed was too high for my wife to get into comfortably. Bathroom door would not close due to expansion. Room was clean and comfortable.”

“We were excited to give this resort a try, but it's probably not a place we'll return to. The property itself is beautiful, modern, and definitely feels like a luxury resort you'd expect to find in Vail or Aspen.
