“The back patio was nice, had a seating area. The building was kind of updated (fresh paint) but overall needed some improvements. There was an odor in the hallway. No seating in the room other than the bed. It was difficult to find parking at night. The staff was great, no complaints there.”

“This was a quaint and affordable stay in a great location. We were in Kansas City for a college visit. The location was close to UMKC and also shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the carriage house, top floor. It was spacious and deliciously air conditioned. Will definitely stay here again when in KC.”

“Sooooooo smokey. As a former smoker this was bad even for me. Even the rooms smell like smoke. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is sensitive to smoke. The food there was overall fine. The gambling was fine, but we felt the tables were too high for the traffic.”

“It was a very good price and place to stay during the World Cup, the breakfast in the morning was awesome. My only complaint was our room smelt terrible, anytime we would leave and come back since the air was off it smelt like sweaty locker room socks so that was just unpleasant. “All was good here. The room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet and relaxing.
I did have an issue after booking that I tried to get in touch with management and they didn’t call me back, hence the 4 stars over 5. The breakfast was also very so/so. The potatoes tasted like water in the worst way but we appreciated the waffle maker.”
