Hotel a Mills River

“This place has clean room and building, friendly/helpful staff, but the pillows on the bed were the absolute worst experience. I would imagine they are forced to use cheap pillows but I will choose somewhere else to stay next visit because of this. It made it incredibly hard to get decent sleep.”

“The outdoor space us awesome!! You'd never know you're close to town. Fireplace, fire pit, grills and numerous places to sit. The staff was awesome. They met us at the car and helped us up to our room. We parked in the handicapped space. The rooms are so comfortable. We had the 2 room suite which is like being at a resort. You'll not be disappointed.”

“Last minute stop on the way to Gatlinburg. Reasonably priced. Comfortable room that was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The breakfast was ok. Coffee was strong. My only complaint was the walls were thin and it sounded like the people above us were practicing gymnastics until 11pm and up at 6:45 am. The two young ladies that checked us in were wonderful. Get a second floor room if you stay here.”

“Great little cabin, clean, well apportioned, great architectural design, site facilities, and great atmosphere. We would totally stay here again and have already been recommending to our friends.”

“We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

“The entire premises were well maintained. It felt like I was in tiny village which was cool. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that stood out to me was the smell in the room. It smelt like moisture which made it feel a humid even with AC on blast. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot and would certainly stay here again. It’s very close to town and to many famous hiking spots. There are plenty of eating options whether upscale or laid back. This is a prime location indeed.”

“Good, clean. Staff was excellent. Parking was a bit challenging, but there's a lot right next door. Didn't try the breakfast. Simple, no-nonsense accommodations. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, angenehme Zimmer für mich als Einzelperson groß genug als Doppelzimmer wäre es recht eng. Sehr Zentral gelegen. Freundliches Personal, nette Bar. Leider sind die Zimmer extrem Hellhörig ich konnte wirklich das ganze Gespräch im Nebenzimmer mithören, war nicht angenehm.”

“I enjoyed my stay at Skylarnna Resort. The hotel was quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the on-site pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, so we had to go off-site for meals and drinks. Even though those facilities were closed, it would have been nice to still have the option to purchase bottled water or other beverages on-site.
