“Sketch area. Tons of homeless pushing their carts up and down the street in front of hotel. Clerk is behind bullet proof glass. You can see a huge lobby- all behind glass like a weird museum. You're confronted with signage taped to the glass telling you everything you don't get and aren't allowed to do. If you pre-paid via Expedia or hotel.com, they rudely tell you you must pay a $30 cash deposit or no room. Pet deposit quoted 10 per pet online- they charged $12.50 per pet. Oh we made the...

“We have stayed in this hotel many times and have tried to get the king suite with a sleeper sofa. That has generally worked out well for us, but this visit the sleeper sofa mattress was incredibly uncomfortable with sagging and springs that impossible not to feel. If they replace the sleeper sofa mattress, then it will be nice, but it was so bad it could hardly be slept on as it was. Hopefully this is just a small glitch. We reported it to the front desk and maybe they will get it changed out ”

“No warning when booking that this hotel is under construction. They have workers working until dark, so if you need quiet or peace this is not the place. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful. The front desk attendant huffed and puffed when I asked for a receipt for some snacks I bought with cash. ”

“This place was nice except the room smelled musty and the breakfast bar was at best minimally stocked. The tub filled up ankle deep during the shower. The toilet clogged up without anything in it. This place could definitely use some updating. The coffee pot leaked all over. Very very sad. ”

Im not sure if the attached sports bar falls under this review but they were severely understaffed with one bartender trying to manage large crowd. At night had difficulty getting a food order. “Everything was wonderful. Clean rms, clean everywhere inside and out. Smelled good too!! The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the bathroom mirror was so high I could only see the top of my head. Granted I am only 4'10 but if the mirror was just four inches lower it would have been better. But I was able to use the other mirrors in the rm to get myself ready for the day so it was only a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend this hotel...
