“Location in central Newtown was terrific. The main floor restaurant was shut down. No elevators to third floor so 42 steps to the third floor and no bell staff so dragging all your bags up was not a good start. No hot water in the shower. Got moved to second floor was an improvement. Historic hotel (opened during Civil War) was alluring but couldn’t recommend it.”

“We had a two queen room that was quite large. The room had nice beds and high ceilings, but no fridge or microwave. I know there was one in the lobby, but would have been nice to have one in the room.”
