  • Welcome to the Ballinger Suite, a spacious newly remodeled two room unit in New Prague, MN. You will enjoy a private bedroom with a queen bed, tv and sitting area plus a separate living room with, sofa, tv, tech table, kitchenette and murphy bed creating a 2nd private sleeping option to accommodate 4 quests. A 3/4 bath and tile shower is conveniently accessible to both rooms. There is also a deck with gas grill for use of guests. The property offers stunning views of St. Wenceslaus church and is convenient to main street, restaurants and golf.

Lovely Spot to Stay

We were visiting family in Montgomery, so New Prague was very close by. We are familiar with the area, and the loft was a lovely place to stay. We'll stay again the next time we are back in the area.

Clean and comfortable!

We were delighted with the accommodations! It was clean, quiet, well furnished and our host left lots of fun "extras" for our stay! The beds were comfortable and the Murphy bed was fun! It was within walking distance of all the restaurants, shops etc that New Prague has to offer! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

It was a very enjoyable stay.

It was a quick over nite getaway and it was perfect. The place was very clean and welcoming. All the comforts you need were there. The hosts were also very good communicators and willing to accommodate if need be. It truly was easy and relaxing.

First time in New Prague

My husband and I rented the Ballinger Suite for a wedding we attended for New Year’s Eve and were very pleased! The space was really cool and inviting. Rodney and Shelly were such great hosts!! Highly recommend this place!

Amazing place to stay

Loved our stay! The place was perfect! So clean and little amenities that were much appreciated! Like charging station, sound machine, Alexa speaker, coffee k cups and chocolates when we arrived. The decor was simple and cute. Lots of photos and some books/pamphlets on the history of the dairy building. The location was great! We walked downtown to check out some local shops. Close to dining and grocery stores. Beautiful view of the church across the street. We really loved and enjoyed the place. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

Family Thanksgiving

My husband's parents live in New Prague, and the family has grown so we experimented with having one of the families with children stay here. Great spot, loved the layout, small sq ftg but felt large due to smart layout. The only issue was the TV in the bedroom didn't work very well, just very slow and would cut out frequently. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Visit to New Prague for Wedding Shower

The venue was beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. It also offered access to several streaming services which helped us enjoy watching our Iowa Hawkeyes make it to the women's NCAA championship. The location was perfect as well. Close to downtown eateries and 2 blocks from the Wedding shower. Would recommend this to anyone. Kim and Maddy

Short Stay

This property was clean and very convenient. We were in town for a bridal shower and party. We just spent one night. Got there in the dark and everything was true as described. We had no issues finding the place, parking or checking in. The apartment suite was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again without question. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Vintage charm with all the modern conveniences.

It is a cozy upstsirs apartment in a lovely old coverted creamery. Tons of vintage charm, wih all the modern conveniences. Original wood flooring and inside dooring. Comfortable bed, super clean modern bathroom with a fantastic walk in shower (nice touch). We appreciated the living room kitchenette area that was separate from the bedroom. It was all super clean.

Perfect for our short stay

We were in town for a wedding and this was perfect for our family for the weekend. We were easily able to find a place to eat, groceries, wine, park, all in walking distance. Our young boys loved our little home for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our walk to dinner. We live in the country so they loved staying right in town. Our hosts were very prompt with responding to messages and had everything we needed in the rooms. They made everything very easy! The menus from several restaurants that they had available were perfect to have so we were prepared with 3 young children when went out to dinner. If we are ever in New Prague again, we will definitely look to book with them.

Weekend in New Prague

We stayed for a weekend in this really well appointed apartment or suite. Lots of windows and light. We liked the doors on the bedroom and the living room area for privacy. The furniture was high end and comfortable. Both beds were really nice with some of the softest bedding I’ve ever slept on! The space seems newly remodeled and a lot of nice amenities were there - two tv’s, speakers, Amazon Alexa to control the temp, menus for all local restaurants, dishes, coffee and coffee maker, a heating element (there’s not a stove) which we used with the frying pan to make pancakes, and about any other kitchen supply you could need. The bathroom was nicely remodeled as well with a large walk in shower and extra counter area by the sink. We walked to a restaurant down the street which was really good! Several other places you could walk to to eat or shop. The back entrance and keyless entry was nice and secure. We also got to park in the covered car port. Host checked on us via text to see if everything was satisfactory during our stay which was really nice. We’ll look at staying here again if we are ever in the area.
