“The hotel is well maintain and beautiful. The staff was super helpful as we arrived very early and had a cooler. They kept it inside and even froze our meats since we had to keep traveling the next day. We felt safe and happy. The elevators are a bit tricky since they all go different places such as the garage but they are well labeled, you just got to READ the signs. “Jules was very accommodating and breakfast was delicious. The views from the front porch were lovely and there was a very friendly “outdoor “ cat, more than ready to jump into your lap and curl up, if you so desired!”

“Need more outlets near bed. More storage in bathroom for toiletries needed. We were located on 1st floor & heard lot of noises from ceiling & walls including whole conversations & intimate activities from next door guests. Have stayed in more quiet hotels. Cleanliness, room size & storage & staff were really good. Housekeeping did good job all 3 nights of our stay.”

“The A/C in our room was broken…80° all night. Clearly there were A/C issues in the entire floor as the lobby on the 4th floor was hot too. Called the front desk; never offered another room. The property is very cool and historic. It was disappointing to have this issue. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well apportioned. The on site restaurant is only open for breakfast which was also frustrating.”

“The room temp could not be adjusted or controlled, it was humid and warm and uncomfortable to sleep. Behind the beds was dusty, dirty, and had food remnants that were not vacuumed. ”
