Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. ”

“We had a fantastic two night stay at this hotel which had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, clean and well equipped rooms to a breakfast that could not be faulted. This hotel was well located for us with a Toby Carvery next door, with a huge shopping complex approx 5 minutes drive away, with all your well named high street stores M&S, Primark etc. even a Cinema and bowling alley and a varied choice of restaurants. If travelling into York, leave the car at the hotel, an Uber to York...
