“The mananger at the front desk was incredibly kind and friendly. Unfortunately the property could use some TLC. Honestly, I’m not sure how it got such high reviews—maybe low expectations since it’s a red roof? I chose it over the brand I typically go to since their reviews for the Galveston location were much lower. It was OK to sleep here for one night before a cruise, close to the beach, but the photos were deceiving and I would have been disappointed if I were vacationing here. The rooms look...

“Very nice and polite desk worker!”

“The room had mold on the walls and smelled moldy. Other guests also complained of the musty smell. Staff was very friendly. We paid $300 a night for a room and this should have been more of $100 night room due to quality.”

“I travel quite a bit, probably 10 hotels at least a year. I usually give 5 stars to every hotel. This hotel while had the location and the looks of an amazing hotel. Stayed there on America's 250th birthday, they had every flag up around their bar for world cup but NO USA flag... I asked why, the staff said "someone took them". Also, the staff at the desk was extremely entitled, anytime I or other guests would say Happy 4th of July or Happy Independence Day, it was met with silence... Very...
