“When staying here you have to treat it like a visit to grandma’s 200 year old house. Our room was on the third floor (no elevators) with slanted ceilings and bathroom down three steps. It was quite small and didn’t have many amenities (such as body wash or a microwave) and our window was tiny. The air conditioner vent was positioned next to the bed and blew air directly on us as we slept (quite unpleasant). “The property is undergoing significant renovations. They do not disclose this until you get there. This should be disclosed before the guests arrive. Things are kind of a mess. And the whole place smells like a construction zone. Normally, has been a nice place when they have their stuff together. Personally, I believe the place should be closed until the renovations are complete. But if not, let guests know what is going on in advance.”
