“My stay at Columbus Inn was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and clean. We did have trouble figuring out the cable on the TV, and the breakfast wasn't great, but the price was wonderful and we felt safe. I would readily stay there again.”

“Barebones. No shower products in bathroom. Terrible tv remote. Nasty sheets. Lousy breakfast. And overpriced for its quality. Would avoid.”

“I had a problem with the internet. I brought my Dell laptop and could not access the internet. I was on with a tech support person for some time without any resolution. This is my only complaint about my stay. Maybe something with my laptop or my Norton 360 security was the issue, but it has worked fine elsewhere.”

“Clean all-round”

“The Day Shift Desk person was not very accommodating with changing rooms due to having a plugged up toilet. He said he would send up a plunger for us to unclog the toilet. We left for four hours and after returning the toilet was still plugged up. I went to the front desk and the guy said he would give me a plunger. He said we must have plugged it up and we needed to unplug it. I told him if the plunger wasn’t attached to a maintenance man don’t bother sending up a plunger. I told him it was not...

“Our room was clean, and the property was clean. The hotel is no frills, but you get what you pay for. Our home was being renovated, and we need somewhere close by that was reasonably priced to stay for a couple of days. The hotel did charge a double deposit because we were “locals”. I was not happy about that, but it was refunded in a few days. The breakfast consisted of waffles only and lukewarm coffee. Fortunately it is located near many fast food restaurants, a Wal-mart, and a grocery store....

“The room had a weird smell as soon as I walked in. The bathroom was very dirty. Mold in the shower, the shower floor was brown, and a mystery sticky scum in the sink. In the morning, the cleaning crew knock on my door at 9 am when check out was at 11. They came back and knocked again at 10 am. The elevator was small and there was only one in the whole building. It wasn’t a bad stay, I just don’t think they were prepared.”
