Hotel a Tremont City

“The room was clean and spacious. We were in a first floor accessible room so it was easy to go in and out with our two small dogs. It was very quiet. Staff was friendly and there was ample green space to walk the dogs. We enjoyed the small town and it's environs.”

“Upholstered furniture was filthy. Tub dirty. No tissues and body wash bottle was empty. Breakfast was poor. Tables in breakfast area dirty”

“Water pressure in room was low. Breakfast wasn’t too good. Not a lot to choose from.”

“Easy parking. Close to amenities. Clean room. Broken tiles in the shower. Shower head needs replacement. Not a bad place for the price.”

“The staff were especially nice and a highlight of the stay. The room was very tidy and comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. My main reason for not rating higher is that the front of the Expedia page lists a hot tub but there is none at the hotel. Also the estimate for the room never mentions a charge per night for parking, which may be small but is frankly ridiculous since the front desk told me I could park at Applebees if the lot was full. ”

“We arrived with no water for the first night and next morning. On the second night we did not have water until after 7:00 p.m. and then no hot water. Out of 3 night stay we had hot water for only one night. No refund was offered or given because 'we booked through Expedia'.”

“Overall, the property seemed clean and maintenance was pretty good. However, the bathroom was not well maintained, and the shower curtain had a lot of stains as did the window curtains. The toilet was of a size for an elementary school and the "couch" or sofa was also low to the ground and not very comfortable. The bed was so high I could barely get into it. Also, the bed base was metal so if you bumped it with your foot it made a very loud noise, and it was noisy with movement in the bed. ...

“The bathroom tub was slow to drain and there was a lightbulb out in the bathroom. The door to the room had a big gap when closed which let light and sounds in and had us wonder about how secure it was. Water was not provided in the room and the water machine for filling a bottle was not on after breakfast service was over.”

“Hotel was great. Ate dinner at the hotel bar/restaurant and it was very good and reasonably priced. Very quiet area and plenty of parking.”

“The property was very clean and the room was excellent. The staff was great and very friendly. I even told the lady that checked us in that her hair was beautiful and it was. Will stay there again if we are in that area. Bill and Judy. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel.”

“No smoke detector carpet shredded place smelled it was disgusting. Somehow they up charged the rooms to almost $300 a night which I had to pay as we were out of town for a wedding and there is nothing else in the area. Place is a dump wish I could get my money back”

“I didn’t like that there was no handicap accessibility. No elevator. Walked into the room with unclean sheets however the staff was kind and quick on your feet to replace the sheets. But overall, I didn’t fully enjoy my stay due to the first two reasons.”
