Hotel a Waverly

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean along with my room. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. It was nothing great but did its job. I have no complaints about my stay and I would stay here again.”

“This is the best place to stay whenever we come to town! Everyone is so accommodating and polite. If we needed to move to a new room in a flash, they were there to make it happen! Coffee shop down the road and plenty of walking paths. Could use a bigger work-out room. But all in all its a great place to stay! Thank you to the whole staff for making our stay wonderful! “Room was clean besides the handle by the in room jetted tub that had some pretty gross looking stains or dirt. The light up mirror over sink is too dim. The shampoo,conditioner and body wash are really nice. The steam room by pool smells like mold really bad. Pool was nice and warm, hot tub was perfect temp. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff at front desk were all very nice.”

“This was an overall unpleasant experience. From the front desk being unattended, resulting in another worker yelling up the stairs for the someone to come check me in, to the hair in the bathtub and dust covered furniture, it was not somewhere I felt comfortable staying. I immediately contacted Expedia for help, but they couldn't reach anyone on staff to address concerns. I ended up leaving and as I was pulling out, saw the two workers out front smoking, which is probably why they couldn't be...

“The vending was out of water by my second day. Hole in the wall behind the toilet. Air conditioner was very loud. Hard to sleep. Room was clean and the staff was good. ”

“No top sheet on the bed, just a thin blanket. AC extremely loud. Near active railroad tracks.”

“Absolute gem of a hotel! I’ve enjoyed staying on two separate occasions and throughly enjoyed the quality amenities and friendly staff. I’m not going to go into details but there was a rather major mishap/inconvenience on our first stay and I debated bringing it up to management but before I had a chance they let me know they would be covering our entire stay. Lovely view great management and a cozy relaxing atmosphere I hope to enjoy again soon! I’m tempted to write a bad review just to help...

“It was about the only choice in the area we needed to be. Nothing special. Cheap amenities…towels, TP, plastic utensils and glasses, no outdoor patio or seating. The price was not supported by the grade of accommodations.”

“Lovely, cozy cabin. We really enjoyed our stay! Only hiccup we had, was that the driveway is pretty steep and we got stuck leaving one afternoon. Nothing anyone can do about that, except maybe a heads up in the description. (It was dark when we arrived ane we didn't realize how steep the driveway was until we were halfway down) After that, we parked at the top of the driveway and we had no issue! Beds were comfy, it had everything we needed. Hoping to come back in the summer so we can enjoy...
