“It was ok, few stores in the vicinity, major stores are in downtown Galveston over 15 miles away. No ice maker in the ice box or ice trays. Bare minimum of stuff to make your stay more comfortable. Air conditioning inadequate.I guess you can say it felt cheap. ”

“The host was great. However, we did not know that the home was a split level. One bedroom and bath on the bottom and the two bedrooms and one bath up on second floor. One had to go outside to get to the bottom bath. Also the door to the bottom facilities was swollen, so we had a difficult time opening and closing the door. The place was clean, but really needs updating and we wish there were some furniture in the bedrooms besides the bed and a night stand. No dressers. No coffee table. ...

“Spotless, not much for amenities but they were clear about that. Staff were great about dropping off more towels and one staff member, on her day off, went to the store and bought some clothes hangers as there were none in the unit. I was disappointed with the view. The photo shows a house looking directly at the beach. That is not the house we stayed in. Ours was smaller and behind it. It is pretty much hidden in the photo they show. We did have a side view of the water but I feel the photo is...

“Our host Yadira was very communicative and provided great advice for beach access and local amenities. She was very friendly and prompt with her responses. ”

“The hosts were welcoming and supplied all the information we needed by messages. The amenities were quite adequate. ”

“Only issue was the strong winds on Sunday and Monday were so strong that the house swayed and moved and the wind caught spots on the exterior that made the loudest whistling and whining noise that it was nearly impossible to sleep at night. Other than that, it was fine.”
