“Beautifully decorated, very Victorian. Rather like staying in a museum. Mattress was comfortable. Very clean. Front desk check in was lovely. Those were the good bits. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in the room was horrifically noisy, to the point where we had to turn it off halfway through the night and open the windows instead. “The staff were kind and friendly, and we had no issues with the service. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was extremely disappointing. The shared bathroom sink had beard shavings on it when we arrived, and they remained there for our entire stay. The light switches were so dirty that I ended up cleaning them myself with Lysol wipes.
