Hotel a Whiting

“Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July....

“While the place does have the bare minimum a motel should have for a stay, the rooms are filthy, the owner installed cameras at every door (which made for a lack of privacy), the sink and shower had broken valves, and the reception office was incredibly hot.”

“The captains cottage was a super nice place with great staff and close to a great restaurant and bar. My wife and I enjoyed our stay!!!!”

“This is okay if you need a last minute place to stay for a night. Room was clean but had a weird smell. Bed was uncomfortable for my man (side sleeper)but I slept well. 30 minutes from BelMawr and Point Pleasant Beaches. The owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs once we arrived. Parking for truckers and a grill area with seating. Great location with stores to grab things you may need. Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree and much more. We would stay again if we NEEDED to. “Hotel non nuovo ma pulito e ben vissuto (maggior parte famiglie con bimbi e ragazzi giovani). Comodo al mare e compreso si ha l'accesso in spiaggia gratis. Internet è lento. Ha la piscina piccolina ma c'è. Parcheggio incluso per auto e moto. Non male se si vuole risparmiare e avere le comodità.”

“One block from board walk and beach. Staff was very friendly. Room was your standard 2 bedroom room. Had a bathroom, small fridge and microwave. Everything was clean when we arrived.”
