“I think my only comment is the bartender could be friendlier . She acted inconvenienced everytime we ordered a drink. It was NYE and there was only one bartender and the place was packed all night, feel like it could have been staffed better for a night like NYE. ”

“I booked 7 rooms for my family to stay overnight for a wedding luncheon the following morning in early January. Check-in was easy, even though the rooms were all booked in my name and we all arrived at different times. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Our rooms were very clean, modern and roomy. Parking was convenient and the free continental breakfast was more than adequate. The location was also great.”

“The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and efficient during check-in. The room is well equipped and clean. This has become my go-to spot when visiting Des Moines. Very few other hotels within the downtown area offer free parking. The breakfast buffet is nice. I'll keep staying here when I return.”

“Check in was seamless and the woman who checked us in was so nice. She even had dog treats for our two pooches. Room was clean and we love the location. Great river walk, close to restaurants and shopping. We love the multiple breweries in the area so it’s nice to not have to drive and have a safe place to stay. Great breakfast choices as well. ”
