“Rooms were not as advertised. First room was no better than a Motel 6, on the road, so loud. We had a fire alarm battery going off, so luckily got moved interior room, but it was no better in terms of cleanliness. Carpets in the halls were taped down with duck tape. No phone in room to call valet, even though that was the only way to retrieve your car. Would NOT recommend or stay again.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We travel often and aren't very picky about accommodations, but this is our first review as Expedia Gold members.
After a morning of surfing, we stopped by around 2pm to see if we could leave our car, and the hotel kindly allowed us to check in early, which we appreciated. “The room was clean, and although I understand it’s older, it’s really in need of renovation plumbing and A/C repair. It’s not in the beach, so you do have to walk across the street and down several stairs to get to the beach area. Also, if you stay in the north building, there is no ice machine and the pool is in the south building area.”

“The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room itself appeared clean and well maintained. However, the overall property showed signs of deferred maintenance. The pool area was closed and fenced off, and it appeared that renovation work had either stalled or been inactive for some time. There were also noticeable cosmetic issues within the room, such as significant paint overspray on the interior door.

“We love this hotel. It has everything one needs; kitchen, restaurant on site, pool, grounds for activities. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We don’t have everyone’s name that helped us but Abraham did come and fix our table. Very polite and friendly. All staff including restaurant service excellent.”
