“Excellent value. Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor.
Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century).

“This property calls itself a resort. There are no amenities apart from beach chairs. The photos on the web are a scam. There is NO management on the property. I feel totally taken in by false promises ”

“Right across the street from quiet, beautiful stretch of beach. Ideally located close to downtown and up the street from the beach restaurants/bars at the roundabout.
