“This trip was just what we needed. My husband has a terminal illness and the ocean seems to soothe both of our souls. We could sit anywhere in our room and see the ocean. Even though he could not make it out to the water, he could hear the waves rolling in and feel that ocean breeze. Everything we needed was on-site and the staff could not have been friendlier. “Overall the condo was very nice. The problem we had with the facilities was that there were a ton of cockroaches. We killed three in the actual condo. We had to go through everything that we took home outside in the driveway to make sure we weren’t bringing any cockroaches home with us. It was gross and frustrating. I have a picture of a big one that we killed in the kitchen. I don’t have pictures of the other two because my husband took care of them.”
