The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad travels south from Independence, OH through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and winds up in Akron, OH. For $18 you can take the train for a three hour round trip through the park. You can stay on the train the entire journey, or you can get off and explore one of the small towns the train passes through. They have an option to load your bike on the train so you can ride the train as far as you want and bike the rest of the journey. Almost passed up this restaurant! Glad I didn't! Marie's is best known for their pizza, but they have other healthy Italian options. Come here HUNGARY! The food is made fresh with generous helpings. You'll go home leftovers. I had a Reuben and only ate half a sandwich. DO NOT pass this up if your coming through NE OHio. Worth the drive! I'll be ordering take out for sure!
