“After booking a room for $219 to travel THROUGH EXPEDIA to Ventura for the sole purpose of visiting two aging friends in Assisted Living at Cypress Place, I ended up paying $347.74. I called to inquire about the total bill and received unacceptable responses and certainly indicated my need for transparency in costs in advance. As a low-income senior, I feel I'm a victim of a sense of deceptive communication. The room was OK except the coffee maker would not work and had to be replaced. ...

“The rooms here have been redone and are beautiful. Very Clean, comfortable Beds & Linens, great air conditioning; my room had a mini fridge, safe, parking right outside the door, a little table and stools to work at, and really nice bathroom. The price was excellent for a weekend or weekday! Walking distance to cafe’s, beach, etc. I felt very safe. Will definitely return. Also look forward to additions I think they are making/renovating.”
