“It was a great little room for a one night stay for a wedding . Check in was easy , it was clean and in a great location it was walking distance about a 5 min walk to downtown ocean grove and a ten minute drive to asbury park . Also communication with the host was great, answered me quickly and was helpful with any questions I had . ”

“Great location. Room was clean. The listing details are very inaccurate - my room did not have the bathroom and I had to leave my room to go to the bathroom and shower and it was locked and you needed a code. We could not sit outside because there are other guests and quiet hours started at 10pm. Check in and check out process was very easy. ”

“Dirty, unsafe, floors sagged 2 to 3 inches from middle to sides, dirty clothes in the dresser, rug dirty, tub spout partially off, pillows smelled of makeup. We arrived Monday at 9:30 PM and left 7:30 AM Tuesday the next morning. Tokd Doug we expected a refund byt no reply. Communication with Melrose was almost non existant. Horrible experience.”

“Sandy was a responsive host who tried to help us when issues arose with the plumbing during our stay. The toilet wasn’t working properly and the place needed little functional fixes/updates here and there. Also, the main a/c unit vents were very dirty. Street parking in front most of the time was a plus. It was also quiet and close to a nice downtown area. It was a nice size 2-day stay for 2 adults and 1 child. A few tweaks and it would be a great stay!”

“We loved this place! The home was clean and orderly with lots of room for our 16 person family reunion. The location was ideal- close to the beach and the charming shops and coffee bars. The pots and pans were a little wonky, but we made it work. We would definitely be back the next time we are lucky enough to get together. Thanks for playing such a big role in making our reunion memorable!”
