“We were passing through and and was looking for a cheap place to stay for the night. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" was true in this place.The road to the hotel is ruff.The pool was filled in and had grass growing in it.The block fence around the pool was torn up.The beds were hard as a rock.I booked and paid through Expedia and the hotel also charged me a $100 deposit and it took six days for them to put it back on my card.I will say the room was pretty clean and the showers...

“My one star rating has nothing to do with the staff or quality of room. Charging a guest $10 a night just to park in basically a public lot. They didn't even take my vehicle info. This is a money grab and will end up costing this location valuable customers. I have stayed at this specific location for over 7 years when our family member was hospitalized at Duke Hospital. I hate to change, but this is just totally unacceptable….i demand reasonable value for where I spend my money! Hope they...

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options. The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. “This hotel runs the incidentals as a charge rather than as an authorization. I caught this and called the hotel asking for a refund of the $100 incidentals charge. I was told it should be back in my account within 24 hours. 48 hours later it still isn’t returned. Just called the hotel again and was told it takes 5-10 business days for the refund to take place. When I told the woman this is why it should be an authorization rather than a charge she couldn’t care less what I had to say. This is a...
