“Funcionarios ok. Cafe da manha muito pobre e ruim. Limpeza mediana, nosso quarto NAO estava com o Piso muito limpo (manchas grudavam no pe). Banheiro ok. ”

“Staff was helpful for our very late check in and got us to our room. Unfortunately, room had a really bad smell. There was an ionizer in the room that was not plugged in when I asked about it, I was told it should have been removed and given a bottle of Lysol to spray in the room. In fairness I could have switched rooms but due to how late just wanted to get some sleep. The room smelled like someone probably was smoking in it. Maybe the reason for the ionizer.”

She was very pleasant and accommodating ie. cleaning our table upon request (with a smile), offered all the tables water and any assistance we needed, helping with a complicated toaster and keeping the buffet well supplied (all while working alone due to a call off!). “Breakfast was what we expected - basic continental breakfast. Room was decent but the bathroom wasn’t clean when we checked in. Overall convenient - right off the highway, plenty of parking. Good for a quick overnight stop on a long roadtrip. ”

The heat system was very noisy, and had a continuous high pitch while running, as did the refrigerator. The breakfast was well stocked and was clean. The staff person did an excellent job of refilling supplies, when needed. The parking area seemed secure and safe. Overall, the hotel was very nice.”

“Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only...
