“Never received our deposit back”

“I am not sure if the hotel was being renovated but it was not in good condition. When you walked in the lobby looked okay. Once in and you realized the conditions it was too late. The 2nd floor had all the mattresses outside the doors. I did ask for a 1st floor room and the staff said “that’s all we have”. When we 1st walked into the room it looked questionable. By the time we were settled, the sink faucet was broken, water didn’t drain, towels and shower curtain looked like mildew. The...

“If you're looking for the home-away-from-home feeling and also want the camping experience without having to sleep on the ground, this is the place to go.”

“The Lakeview was beautiful. The host was very friendly answered all our questions. It was a great stay.”

“Michelle worked with us with booking last minute and we had such an enjoyable time at her place! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little getaway. She was so kind and generous with us. Such a great host.”

“Took our family, it was wonderful. Our grandkids loved the beach. Great place for Abbie our dog.”

“The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host left snacks, bottled water, and toiletries. The neighborhood was quiet, and there were cute shops and restaurants near by.”

“Great place to stay. Clean and family friendly accommodations.”

“The small house was perfect for my wife and I when visiting relatives in the area. We utilized the kitchen every morning and slept comfortably. The loft at the top of the metal spiral staircase in the kitchen looks like it would be lots of fun for kids, but we did not use it. We also did not use the garage (manual open/close) or the side yard with fire pit (which had wood available for cash purchase). The tree covered slope in back gives a sense of privacy. Although the lake is across the...

“We had an amazing stay here. The property was very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. It was well stocked with all the supplies we could need. Steve was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We had fun fishing off the dock and boating down the channel and out to the other lakes. It’s a beautiful area and a beautiful camp! Would definitely love to stay here again.”

“Had a great weekend. Thanks.”

“This was wonderful. I would highly recommend.”

“Charming little lake house with a direct view and access of the lake via a private dock. There are also 2 restaurants within walking distance from the property, that we're both delicious with a fun atmosphere.”

“The house is great in an excellent location on Barbee lake. Walking to the restaurants The 3 bedrooms were laid out great for privacy1 queen bdrm/by the front door. The primary/around the corner w/ 1/2 bath. Hall bath was across from primary and bunk bed rm was off of the living room. None have closets but there are hooks and some rods. Each bdrm has a fan which is an excellent touch. Air works really well. Kept it at 72 during our mid July stay and it was cool enoughThe hall bath has a stand up...

“Excellent location and very nice lake”

“The absolutely noisiest hotel I’ve ever experienced! Not only was the freeway noise insanely loud, the rude people in the next room blasted their tv all evening, all night and all morning in spite of several calls to complain. The elevator equipment room door stayed propped open during our whole time there making horrid noises 24/7. The hot tub was broken, the hair dryer was DISGUSTING!! The staff were not at all professional. The building needs a LOT of attention and repair. Save yourself some...

“The blinds didn’t work. The bathroom door didn’t fit the frame so it wouldn’t close. The room doors would slam shut making loud noises. The overall maintenance was bad!!”
