“Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. “Beautiful property. The animals are adorable. Owner was very kind. My only suggestion might be a set of TV trays for eating. There is a beautiful coffee bar that has 2 stools but I was traveling with my elderly Dad and he could not sit there. I brought the end table over and used it. The place really is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay. Pllll”
