“Our room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The hotel was lovely with a nice bar and restaurant. Everyone was kind and happy to tell us about Amana. We walked to the local tavern, we walked to the bakery and got pastries and coffee in the morning. The running trail was nice and right outside. We didn’t get to the brewery across the street but it was adorable and inviting.”

“The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. That being said, this hotel is possibly unfit for people. Our first room had a strong musty smell, mold in the ac, mold on lamp shades and various deep carpet stains. We requested another room and were given the hot tub suite. I was told it was inoperable currently. That room also has mold in the ac and mold on the lamp shades. Neither bathroom has any active venting at all.”

“Staff was very kind and polite, shower was warm and great water pressure, and our sheets were clean. Beyond that, it was bad. The bathroom had mold all around the walls by the ceiling. The floor had not been swept or vacuumed, which was evidenced by fingernail clippings around the room. There was no soap. None. When we asked for the room to be wiped down and for some soap, the clerk was very nice. We were assured they would take care of everything by the time we got back. They did not. We had to...
