“VRBO is tired. Pots and pans not great for cooking, no scissors, must allow pets as pet hair everywhere, everything was sticky due to whatever cleaning product is used. Spiral staircase is not ideal. Cannot use pickle court in driveway as the driveway is cracked and could result in injury. Bikes are rusty, not taken care of, and would not do laundry in washer-pure rust. The owner is very responsive. The location is great. The house is just tired, needs upkeep. ”

“This property needs serious updating from the rooms to dining experience . The major benefit to this hotel is the location . We were very disappointed in the dining and lack of quality options for a hotel this size . You could tell there was a staffing shortage with the long wait to get our bill . The food option was minimal and the quality of what was ordered was to be desired . The rooms although spacious was outdated. Our rooms had mold on the shower curtains, cracks in the bathroom walls...

“The breakfast was fresh and the staff were pleasant. I had an issue with the kids upstairs but the front desk dealt with it promptly.”

“Beautiful view of the ocean. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was beautifully designed, however there were a few problems. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The bathtub wasn’t clean. We were only there for one night, so didn’t use the pool. We could see it from our window and the kids and parents were having a great time.”

“Upon arrival there was no one at the desk to check us in for at least 3-4 minutes. My husband had to whistle to get someone to come out of the office, which was located right behind the desk to help us and there was no apology for making us wait. The hotel and our room was for the most part clean but there was a foul odor coming from the restroom when we entered the room. It seem to be coming from the drain in the tub, but I'm not sure.
