Hotel a La Jolla Amago

“Parking was limited on the pool side . They only had 1 handicap spot and 5 other spots so if you got back late there was no parking close to the room so if your handicap its to far of a walk ”

“This is a basic motel in Wynola. I needed to contact front office for check-in code as it wasn't provided at check-in time (Keyless entrance). Parking is easy and right in front of room. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. If spending the day in Julian, this is a good option when all Julian lodging is booked. ”

“I stepped out of the shower and walked across the room. I went to dry my feet and they were filthy. So I took my towel and mopped the floor and it was black when I was done. Tub faucet was broken and tub was filthy. Bed was like a cheap fold out couch. Made reservations through Expedia and had a refund due. This motel was delaying and making excuses while it wasn’t their responsibility. Finally had to get Expedia to have a chat with them. Went for a coffee in the morning and they were out....

“Room was a bit small for four adults. The room only had three bath towels in it, though we reserved for four adults. Breakfast buffet was typical for Holiday Inn Express which means acceptable. Not gourmet, but tasty and filling. Quiet considering the location. Will stay again if we go back to the area and need a hotel.”

“They don't automatically return your deposit, which I was unaware of and it took several phone calls to an EXTREMELY rude staff member to finally get it back. Also, the entire outside of the property is teaming with homeless.”

“It was a very restful week. Played golf a four different area courses, took in a baseball game and ate at a fantastic restaurant in Bonsall -Peking Wok. Wasn’t familiar with renting a room at the Welk, but enjoyed it. We are planning on doing this again very soon!”

“Hot tub was not heated, and breakfast bar was a little underwhelming. However, the property and the views were amazing. We would stay there again in the futurez”

“Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed”
