Staff was great and the room was nicely appointed, but it was badly infested with roaches. We were too afraid the roaches would crawl into our luggage that everything stayed in the car, and my teenager elected to sleep in the car also.

The room looked as though it had been renovated by a sixth-grader, sheetrock patches that were unfinished and unpainted, plus dangerous metal brackets left on wall where the bed is. These were sharp enough to gouge or cut a hand or head while sleeping. Refrigerator and microwave looked like pieces salvaged from a condemned property. PLUS, NO hot water on shower (and loose plumbing controls), and toilet did not flush well --- maybe because it was installed NOTICEABLY crooked. They asked me for a $75 deposit at check-in, refunded ONLY if I returned the paper receipt they gave me and AFTER they checked the room before I checked out. The entire experience was not what I expected from the Motel 6 chain. While the price point does not demand luxury, the state of the room was nonetheless disturbing.

broken bathroom door stained dirty sheets and towels, Broken bath tub. stayed two nights, they did not change linens. a very high deposit as well. never staying there again.

The first room I was given had dirty sheets and holes in the blanket and smelled like a dirty ashtray. The second room smelled worse. I did not stay.

This is my first time staying at this Motel 6 in several years. In the past, I always found it to be a clean and decent place to stay. This stay has started off a little differently. The room I was given, 181, is at the east end of the property facing the interstate highway, and the traffic noise is horrendous. It does not seem to have any sound insulation at all. The room at least appears to be clean, except for odd coloring on the comforter on the bed. The ceiling light fixture does not appear to work (despite the switch by the door). Of the three lamps attached to the walls, only one has a lampshade, and it is not made for the lamp to which it is attached. So it hangs crooked, no matter what you do. In the bath area, the tub has a constant drip, which cannot be corrected. The light over the tub also does not work. There is a desk/shelf, but no chair so it is impossible to use the desk for a computer laptop. The bed is too soft. On the plus side…The TV and heater work.

They had wire coming out of the mattress. I asked employee if they can change it out or do something about it maybe put a pillow topper or some thing and she said she would ask the manager the manager with men there called me and asked if that was what was it that I need and I asked her if they could do something about the wire and the mattress and she said no unless I was checking out which I did explain to her I was not on the property and was not gonna be there for some hours. I had already paid online she said well then I need you to check out and then you can check back in at three, which would’ve been at least four hours before I was able to do that or be back at the room and I had my two teenagers there so they were supposed I guess stand outside the door or whatever for four hours until. Even though it was already paid, I have paid already for the same room The manager was rude and acted like I was asking something that was ridiculous. Needless to say I did leave the room alone because I didn’t want her to put my teenage kids out of the room for the mattress so I had my son flip the mattress over hoping that that would fix a little bit of the problem which it did at least the big wire was not sticking out anymore to cut my leg. It was just a terrible experience all together. I would never stay at Motel six again, I guess you get what you pay for.

Called complained about the mattress I was hoping to get a mattress topper or maybe another mattress maybe they could’ve flipped it or something I don’t know but the springs coming out on the bed were terrible in the room that we stayed in. I had got on the bed with my knee first and I scraped my knee I have pictures of the wire that was hanging out. It was just terrible. When I spoke to the manager about it and asked her she said no they wouldn’t be able to do anything unless I was going to check out and recheck in at three, which is going to be a whole four hours later I explained I was not going to be back to the room for another couple of hours. But she couldn’t do anything for me no suggestions no compromise it was a terrible experience all together. Roaches crawling on the wall. Bed linen wasn’t even white. There was a used mask covering our smoke detector in our bed room. When I spoke to the manager she was extremely rude and had poor customer service.

If ONLY the room was as good as the young man working the desk! He was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was like the set for a true crime video. I don’t think the sheets of pillow cases had been changed. After 8 hrs of driving the last thing a person wants to do is kill roaches. The property is filthy and rundown- padlocked rooms that had been kicked in.Kind of scary in fact and I’ve stayed at A LOT of hotels. You guys should close and fix or condemn. “ Not ideal” is the understatement of the year! You should’ve paid ME to stay there. Disgusting.

It smelled like smoke, despite wanting non smoking. The sheets had footprints on them. Noisy location. Night front desk staff seemed distracted/disinterested. Was approached immediately by someone either wanting money or to sell us something. The morning staff was helpful and kind though.

The maids do not service the rooms daily, only every few days. The rooms are in great need for upgrade. The majority of the rooms are currently empty in need for refurbishments, which started but very slow pace.

Much of the hotel is currently in poor condition. The majority of the rooms have been closed and can't be used to accomodate customers. The hotel started to renovate some rooms, but the number of rooms awating renovations is important.
