Hotel a New Bern

“The room was clean. The A/C was a bit old and noisy. Otherwise, it was OK.”

“The room that we stayed in was very dirty. There was hair on the comforters and hair all in the shower. It looked like it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. There was rotten food in the fridge as well. We booked the room for 3 guests and there were not enough towels in the bathroom. I had heard that this was a nice place, so I was very disappointed with the stay.”

“Hard to tell as this was my first and last stay here, but I don’t think the staff here like black people, or maybe just us. They were not helpful to us, but I observed their interactions with white guesses and it was different. Could be they don’t see much black people there. Very uncomfortable for my family. Just needed a place to sleep. Next time in that area of Virginia, I’ll definitely stay somewhere else.”

“The location was great. Right off the highway and close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and of course VT. The outside of the property was clean and looked safe. There was construction going on so we could see the materials for it outside but it was quiet. The front desk staff were so nice and polite. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, which was a a turnoff. My room key did not work after 3 tries so they just moved me to a new room. I had other family members checking...
