“Stayed a weekend (Fri-Mon). Was looking for a cheaper hotel compared to the higher end was much too expensive for a weekend trip. However I traded price for better quality. While the staff was nice there were things a hotel should not have. Dried blood on the curtains. The curtain was also broken. The A/C smelled like mildew every time it came on. “Scandia is a great place. The people who run it are fun and nice! I always sleep well on the mattress there and I have a spine issue which is saying a lot. The location offers easy access to the village, neighboring Oceanside and the freeways about 2 miles away. The venue is next to a preparatory school which has a lovely campus with old trees.
