“We visit Carlsbad several times a year and decided to try this property for the first time. While the location and ocean views are absolutely beautiful and hard to beat, the overall experience didn’t justify the price for us, especially at the rate per night.

“This hotel didn't have anything as stated in their description. The tub leaked, the bathroom facet was loose, and we had to ask for tools and shampoo. Our feet were black from walking on the floor. To get clean towels we had to give them towels to get clean ones. The pool is under repair and not available.”

“We planned a last-minute staycation here. We live locally and didn’t realize how nice this hotel was. We’ve been here before to eat at one of the restaurants onsite but it’s our first time staying at the hotel. The room we got was clean and spacious (we stayed in a Premier Pool Studio room). Our room had a king bed and a couch that had a pullout. My kids loved the room.
